Another message from Ray:
Moved onto lumpy solids, ice cream and custard today.
Got up for first shower.
Andrew (son) ove from WA.
Epidural coming out on Monday (fantastic drugs).
Probably going home on Thursday next.
Have the Anglican priest coming in to deliver communion on Sunday.
Chatty with fellow in the next bed who has had a similar op. We were planning to order an ambulance to take us out for a counter meal tonight - nursing staff thought it was a good idea but just not practical.
Feeling remarkably good. Sleeping well. Plenty of time to pray, meditate, read and journal.
On first name basis with over 30 medical staff.

Hi Ray- just found out from Sutts about your op. what a shock!! My Dad is a 10 year survivor- got a good result after a big op. I'll work with Marg re visiting/pub meals/golf trips etc, maybe later next week?
You (and Marg and the girls) are in our thoughts.
Cheers
Greg & Rhonda
Good to hear all is moving along fine darling. Tanan has had a quick word with the Lord Buddha on your behalf. They both send their regards. I have kept you in my thoughts since we spoke and gee I am tired. No really very happy you are doing ok and a huge ( but soft) hug
Great to hear that you are doing so well but a fit young man like you we should have expected nothing less. Just wondering what you are doing in the first weekend in May as we are thinking of planning a walk, mot quite a 100Km but it will be more than 5metres. Thinking of you, Marg and the girls as you all recover. All my love Jono
