Unfortunately our visit to the dcotor today did not give us any more information about the when or how of the chemotherapy treatments. We have an appointment on the 27th March with the oncology department. While the waiting is stressful, we know they can't do anything before then as they are waiting for Ray to recover from his surgery.
At this stage the doctor could only confirm his original diagnosis that the cancer has travelled through the lymph system to the liver - so no miracle cures yet.
Your continued prayers are gratefully felt.
Love Marg

Hi Ray, Marg and girls
It is a real waiting game from one appointment to the next, just rest, heal & love as much as you can. All our love Jane, Marnie, Ryan & Alexia

G'day Ray

Just reading some of your blogs, helping around the house, dishes, washing, sweeping, trying to help the hospital cleaners do their work.

Reminded me of the saying "You can't keep a good man down".

Go well mate

Waiting, waiting, waiting...one thing I have learnt during my own illness is patience. Its amazing when you can't wait for the next appointment just so you get some more news. It makes you feel like something is happening. whereas the waiting in between can be very difficult to endure. But hang in there Ray. You obviously have lots of caring friends and family and its amazing how much easier the waiting can be with all that support.
Cheers,
Steve and Linda

Keeping tabs on you Ray via this blog saves much phone stress and continual explanations of 'where you are at' They can be draining on all. I have all these things I begin to write but they seem 'platitudanous'?? is that a word?? We know the Lord strengthens and sustains and is always there for you..all of you...Prayers for the 27th...
Kerry is off to E Timor today for a month...John's leg seems at last to maybe , perhaps..possibly...[I don't really dare to think it...be a little better...
Much love to you all...Ronda & John

Dear Ray and Marg,
Andrey and I are in Poland , we went down the Salt mines today and we are heading to Warsaw tommorow.Ray..... I have been in some of the most beautiful churches and I lit a candle for you and your family. The most beautiful church we have been in is in Lyon. It glows with gold and is so highly decorated my jaw dropped in disbelief. We went to a Church in Ireland and the Priest said ..that would be right everyone wants to look at the church but no one wants to stay for the service!!

We are both thinking about you and sending lots of positive thoughts. The offer still stands on our place if it is required and we have put a bottle of wine in the fridge ready for you and Marg just in case.

We will head to Ireland soon and must try and dump luggage so that we don't get an excess luggage bill again!!
Take care
Janine and Andrey
